Metalworker – Steel Construction Assembler – pitch in and shape steel!
Activities
- Assembly of steel and metal constructions on construction sites according to plan or instructions
- Installation and fitting of technical components and special constructions
- Performing pressing work with hydraulic presses and cylinders
- Assisting with lifting, lowering, and moving bridges or heavy components
- Assignments on construction sites in the German-speaking part of Switzerland with occasional overnight stays away from home
Requirements
- Completed vocational or technical training, e.g. metalworker, steel builder, locksmith, mason, carpenter, or similar professions
- Experience on construction sites or in assembly is an advantage
- Teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Physically fit and resilient
- Driver's license category B, trailer license is an advantage
- Willingness for occasional night or weekend work
