- The OESP performs the tasks assigned by the penal code to the enforcement authority and the probation authority. It prepares and makes administrative decisions related to the application of criminal sanctions pronounced against adult persons. It ensures the monitoring and control of the application of decisions from a risk and resource management perspective, prevention of new offenses, and support for (re)integration into society.
- As the head of the office, you lead a multidisciplinary team of about 25 employees. You ensure the implementation of sentences according to the different regimes and provide support to detainees, respecting the rules of conduct imposed on them. You create a pleasant, stimulating work environment oriented towards collective performance and are always at the service of our public mission. As an active member of the management committee, you contribute to defining the strategic direction of the service. You design and supervise key processes, anticipate risks, and ensure the quality of administrative decisions. Finally, you develop strong partnerships both internally and externally, and ensure the smooth operation of the office by managing administrative and financial matters as well as participating in the preparation and monitoring of the budget.
- Holder of a university degree or a diploma considered equivalent, you have solid experience in team leadership. Your mastery of criminal law and the enforcement of criminal sanctions, as well as your ability to analyze complex situations, allow you to act with discernment and efficiency. In this position that requires rigor and a sense of responsibility, your leadership inspires confidence. You unite around ambitious goals, make clear decisions, conduct sensitive negotiations, and represent the authority fairly to multiple stakeholders. Flexible, you are stress-resistant and know how to maintain your role in sometimes tense or highly exposed contexts. Finally, your writing skills are recognized, as well as your interpersonal ease and your ability to communicate clearly and structured.
Prerequisites: residence in Switzerland; category B driving license; clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract. You will be sworn in.
