As part of establishing the new Data Management division, you have a unique opportunity as a Data Architect to significantly shape the future of our bank in an increasingly data-driven world. We are looking for an experienced, committed, and versatile Data Architect who will passionately and skillfully design our future data landscape. This is your chance to take responsibility for the data architecture of a successful bank, develop it with plenty of creative freedom, and thus enable a new generation of analytical and AI applications. Does this environment appeal to you? Then you are the perfect fit for this exciting specialist role.
What excites you
- You design an effective, scalable, and modern data architecture for analytical and AI applications and ensure its continuous development
- You define and maintain the fundamental principles and standards to be applied throughout our entire data architecture and establish the future-oriented direction of the data architecture that supports AI applications (including GenAI) and self-service uses (including BI and Low-Code/No-Code)
- You define and maintain the company-wide business glossary, the conceptual data model, and the data catalog. Furthermore, you support data governance by participating in continuous data inventory and ensuring the data architecture complies with directives and regulations
- You work closely with data analysts, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to understand usage requirements for the data architecture and continuously reflect them in its development, as well as with IT architects to understand implementation framework conditions (e.g., development of our new data platform, lifecycle topics of subsystems, use of cloud services, etc.) and also reflect these in the development of the data architecture
- Through your active participation, you help build our new cloud-based data platform and develop the associated integration strategy
What you bring
- You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, or a comparable education and at least 5 years of experience in enterprise, IT, and/or data architecture management
- You possess solid knowledge in data modeling, information architecture, data integration, as well as designing access concepts and controls. Additionally, you have proven experience with modern data management approaches such as data products and data mesh, as well as experience in building data foundations for AI applications, including GenAI
- Your strong communication skills and excellent German and English language skills distinguish you
- You are highly motivated, independent, and implementation-oriented, combined with a healthy dose of initiative and preferably bring experience and certifications in cloud services
- Experience in regulated industries, especially banking, is an advantage
We are committed to you!
- Support for your individual development needs, both in time and financially
- Flexible working arrangements (part-time, job-sharing, home office, annual working hours)
- Between 25 – 30 vacation days per year
- Sustainable compensation: no individual bonuses, but profit sharing for all employees
