Job Description
About this position:
Retail data is crucial and forms the basis for everything we do. By sharing their sales data with us, retailers gain access to market data and insights from one of the world’s largest POS panels.
You have a passion for retail topics, are enthusiastic about data-driven decisions, enjoy making new contacts, and are happy when these result in a business partnership? Then you are exactly right with us!
We are looking for someone to help us not only maintain but continuously improve the panel quality in the German and French-speaking parts of Switzerland. You are not afraid to systematically approach relevant potential retail partners and show them the added value of cooperation. Your goal: to win retailers for data-based collaboration.
Your tasks:
- You think strategically: develop new approaches together with the team, improve our communication and processes, and identify further potential partners and channels.
- You actively identify and approach new retailers and partners – by phone, on-site, at trade fairs or events.
- You clearly explain the added value of our data cooperations and build long-term trust.
- You work through contact lists in a structured way but also find creative ways to win hard-to-reach partners.
- You accompany new partners from the first contact to contract conclusion and ensure a smooth handover to the Customer Success and Operations team.
- You recognize additional business opportunities and pass them on to the sales team – with an eye on the big picture.
Your profile:
- Enjoy actively approaching people and building new contacts
- Very good German and French skills and good English skills
- Experience in cold calling, telephone sales, or business development is a plus but not a must
- Ability to explain complex topics simply and communicate at eye level
- Organizational talent and perseverance – you keep at it even when it gets challenging
What we offer you
- Clear role focused on partner acquisition and network building – no distractions, no long approval processes
- A unique product that offers real added value to retailers
- Thorough onboarding and tools that support you
- Flexible working, including home office
- A modern office in Root D4 with good transport connections, its own parking lot, and everything you need for the workday & breaks
- A appreciative team with an open culture and clear structures
