Role Overview:
In response to strong market demand and the increasing influence of technology (e.g., cloud, AI, data management, cyber risks), we are looking for auditors and consultants who can work directly with our clients to help them understand and address the relevant risks associated with the technologies supporting their business. This includes interacting with client staff and senior stakeholders, handling multiple tasks, and collaborating with global teams of EY employees. You will be challenged to learn new IT risk areas – sometimes even as they develop – work with a variety of clients across different industries, and deal daily with complex and demanding issues.
Your key responsibilities:
- As an auditor and consultant, you contribute to the successful end-to-end execution of multiple projects.
- You assess the company’s technology universe from a technical and business perspective, conduct in-depth evaluations of IT processes, risks, and controls through interviews, desktop analyses, and system audits.
- You review the configuration of complex systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle...) and IT governance frameworks in accordance with industry-leading practices (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, NIST,...).
- You participate in certification and attestation projects such as SOC reporting, ISAE reporting, ISO certification, from both audit and implementation/consulting perspectives.
- You conduct assessments of system implementations, including data migration, system design, and architecture.
- You evaluate cybersecurity risks and recommend security improvements.
- You use data analytics and process automation to increase audit efficiency.
- You help provide our clients with EY-supported insights and pragmatic recommendations to further improve business outcomes, operational efficiency, and risk management.
- You support the further development of our Technology Risk competency areas.
Qualifications & Skills:
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Applied Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. You have a strong interest in the latest technology trends.
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in IT auditing or a risk management role is an advantage.
- You possess strong project management, interpersonal, analytical, and reporting skills with a positive, problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with complex ERP and/or financial accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, JDE), audit and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI).
- You have proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

- As an international company, we require strong communication skills in English and German. French skills are an advantage.
- You must be successful in a fast-paced, cross-industry, and multinational environment.
Ideally, you also have
- Familiarity with IT frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL) is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CGEIT, CISA, CISM, CISSP, COBIT, CRISC, and ITIL are a plus.
