Portrait of the School/Institution
The town of Wangen an der Aare, with just under 3000 inhabitants, together with the municipalities of Walliswil bei Niederbipp and Walliswil bei Wangen, operates a well-organized and innovative primary school.
At three locations (Wangen an der Aare, Walliswil bei Wangen, and the district of Wangenried), around 400 students are taught from kindergarten to lower secondary level I.
Our school is led by a supportive school management team. The collaboration among teachers is highly valued by all. Joint planning and lesson development are central at all levels of our school.
All classes are supported by IF, DaZ teachers, and school social work.

Tasks
As a special education teacher, you accompany and support children with special needs in cycles 1 and 2 and assist them in their academic and social development. You work closely with the class teachers and jointly contribute to ensuring that the children are integrated as best as possible and individually supported. You place great value on good teamwork, solution-oriented collaboration with teachers, parents, and specialists, as well as a respectful and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
We are looking for a committed, empathetic, and team-oriented person who enthusiastically and competently supports the development of children.
You have completed studies in special education or are still in training.
You are interested in the life world of your learners and are willing to contribute through your personal presence to the success of a vigilant and careful school culture.
