Tasks
Your Main Tasks
- As a teacher at our special education school, you take responsibility for needs-oriented teaching in cycles 2 and 3 with 7-9 children/youth with cognitive and multiple impairments and sometimes challenging behaviors
- You plan, teach, and reflect on lessons, supported by educational staff
- You ensure the quality of teaching and participate in the continuous improvement process of the school offerings
- You work closely with educational and medical therapies as well as with "Living for Children and Youth"
- You actively shape goal- and solution-oriented collaboration within the interdisciplinary school team
- You write meaningful support and school reports
Requirements
What You Bring
- A diploma in pedagogy recognized in Switzerland
- Ideally, special education training
- Experience teaching heterogeneous classes
- Experience working with people with disabilities and behavioral issues
- High social competence and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Resilience, creative and flexible thinking
- Strong reflection, criticism, and conflict resolution skills
- Very good communication in German
- Good computer user skills (Office 365)
- Service and customer orientation
