Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Senior Project Manager to start immediately or by arrangement. In this demanding position, you actively lead projects, set impulses, and drive important topics forward in a targeted manner.

Your tasks:

You contribute significantly to planning and managing strategic projects with a high technology component of various types and sizes from the idea to successful implementation. You use the project management method HERMES 2022 in a targeted manner.

In this versatile role, you are responsible for achieving the project goals regarding time, cost, and quality. Together with your interdisciplinary project team and our partners in the canton, municipalities, federal government, and private sector, you successfully steer the projects in a dynamic environment.

You actively work together with the specialist department on solution architectures with a consistent focus on long-term business goals and demonstrate the potential for modern and effective IT solutions.

In this versatile role, you are responsible for achieving the project goals regarding time, cost, and quality. Together with your interdisciplinary project team and our partners in the canton, municipalities, federal government, and private sector, you successfully steer the projects in a dynamic environment.

You actively work together with the specialist department on solution architectures with a consistent focus on long-term business goals and demonstrate the potential for modern and effective IT solutions.

Your profile:

You are an experienced, independent, responsible, and communicative personality in project and line management and have been working successfully as a Senior Project Manager for several years. You have already had result responsibility for complex projects with multi-million budgets.

With your master's level degree, you have the means to efficiently deepen yourself in new topics and set the right priorities. Ideally, you already have experience and know-how in the tax field.

You are solution-oriented and think logically and analytically. You lead your projects consistently and create a connection between proven practices and new concepts. You value comprehensible decisions and enjoy taking care of organizational, technical, and professional details.

With your fluent and confident manner, you present yourself confidently to your environment and are appreciated for your customer- and goal-oriented way of working.

Certifications in classical and agile project management methods (e.g., IPMA Level B, HERMES Advanced, Scrum, or SaFe) would be additional proof of your previous successes.
