To strengthen its pediatrics unit, we are looking for the following specialist:
Job Description
- Conduct pediatric consultations to monitor the health of infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their growth and development.
- Diagnose and manage common and complex pediatric pathologies, adopting a personalized and caring approach.
- Inform parents and support them in understanding and managing childhood illnesses, promoting an educational and reassuring approach.
- Develop prevention and vaccination actions according to current recommendations, and participate in child health awareness campaigns.
- Collaborate with other specialists (neonatology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric neurology, etc.) to ensure multidisciplinary care adapted to patients’ needs.
- Update medical records and ensure rigorous follow-up to guarantee optimal continuity of care.
- Supervise and share expertise with young doctors and care teams in a continuous training approach.
Qualifications
- Medical degree with specialization in Pediatrics, recognized in Switzerland or eligible for equivalence.
- Registration or MEBEKO recognition in Switzerland or in process.
- Proven experience in general pediatrics and ability to manage a variety of childhood pathologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with children and their families.
- Skills in managing pediatric emergency situations.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different actors in the care pathway.
