Quality Technician - Georg Fischer Signet LLC, Irwindale, CA

Your tasks

• Responsible for inspection methods, correct measuring technique, and inspection / audit processing and throughput.
• Reads drawings and planning packages. Verifies dimensions and performs functional/analytical testing as required. Maintains calibration listings and updates
• Proficient in use of calipers, DMMs, Optical comparator, micrometer, ring, thread, plug gages, profilometer, XRF, optical measuring systems. Other inspection equipment as required and trained.
• Inspects and Records inspection results or audit data accurately with detail in relevant systems, (SAP, Access, etc). Looks for and highlight improvement or failure trends. Supports operations for purges, sorts and blocking inventory deemed defective.
• Writes procedures used for inspection activities, updates planning packages, confers with engineers as needed.

Your profile

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
