In this responsible role, you are part of the Construction Project Management team, which consists of around 100 architects, engineers, move managers, and a strong project office throughout Switzerland. Together, we realize demanding construction projects for renowned clients. Our spectrum ranges from designing modern office work environments to replacing infrastructural facilities and comprehensive life cycle renovations to sustainable projects within the framework of the Net Zero strategy as well as nationwide construction programs of all kinds. We accompany our mandate clients holistically – from consulting and conception through planning and implementation to operation – and ensure that costs, deadlines, quality, and communication are always in line with the project goals.
Your main tasks:
- Strengthening the East Region team; taking on various roles (project management client side, overall management, or client representation)
- Independent leadership and active management of simple to complex construction projects from preliminary study to final accounting (SIA phases 1–5)
- Coordination of client, authorities, specialist planners, and contractors
- Preparation or review of tender documents, cost estimates, award applications, contracts, construction loans, and final accounts
- Development and validation of user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders (project description, specifications, project manual)
- Preparation of decision-making bases and presentations
- Business management or monitoring of project-related services: offers, reporting, service billing up to project completion
- Maintenance and further development of customer relationships
Your profile:
- Basic construction training with several years of experience (e.g., architectural draftsman, degree in architecture / civil engineering, HF technician in construction planning, federally certified construction manager, or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of experience in construction management, especially in the handling / fiduciary management of construction projects
- Business management training is an advantage
- Independent, service-oriented, team-capable, and communicative personality
- Flexibility in assignments (customer-specific)
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365; Messerli BauAd is an advantage
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form; good English skills; French skills are an advantage
