INSPIRE F&B - MANAGEMENT TRAINING 18 months M/F – Spring 2027
The Inspire program is designed for promising hotel talents, offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of hotel operations and train alongside the best professionals in the industry. As an Inspire F&B participant, you will benefit from an immersive and diversified experience within our iconic restaurants, bars, and banquets, discovering all facets of Food & Beverage in a prestigious setting.
This program will allow you to develop your skills, acquire a global vision of luxury industry standards, and actively contribute to offering special and unique experiences to our guests.

General missions:
- Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, monitor their levels and schedules
- Organize employee schedules
- Implement all necessary actions to provide high-quality premium service
- Master the menu offerings, their garnishes, content and preparation methods, and master promotion
- Handle customer complaints and report them to the immediate supervisor
- Conduct briefings before service and maintain close links with the Service Chef
- Control stocks for daily use in restaurants and bars to ensure service levels
- Lead by example and apply LQA technical and emotional standards
- Commit to the quality of your service, discretion, and perfect honesty
- Strictly respect hygiene and sanitary prescriptions
- Respect ergonomic work standards in health and safety rules
- Respect department policies, procedures, and service standards
- Respect all safety policies
- Any other tasks as assigned
Specific missions :
F&B rotation through all food and beverage outlets:
Banquets Supervisor:
- Supervise the service team in collaboration with Banquets supervisors
- Personally take care of clients and their requests during the organization of banquets, breakfast, and brunch
- Participate in all required administrative work areas, including but not limited to: planning, opening/closing tasks, cleaning and maintenance checklists
- Coordinate staff training
- Be present on the floor and set an example as a warm and professional host
Montreux Jazz Café Supervisor:
- Supervise the service team in collaboration with the Montreux Jazz Café Assistant Manager
- Personally take care of clients (reservations, seating, order taking, cashier tasks if necessary) and ensure colleagues under supervision serve them efficiently
- Participate in all required administrative work areas, including but not limited to: planning, opening/closing tasks, cleaning and maintenance checklists, employee action plans, employee evaluations, recruitment
- Coordinate staff training (responsible for role-playing scenarios)
- Be present on the floor and set an example as a warm and professional host
Funky Claude's Bar Supervisor:
- Supervise the service team in collaboration with the Funky Claude’s Bar Supervisor
- Organize the service plan and station plans
- Participate in beverage inventory
- Participate in all required administrative work areas, including but not limited to: planning, opening/closing tasks, cleaning and maintenance checklists, employee action plans, employee evaluations, recruitment
- Coordinate staff training
- Participate in regular cleaning inspections with the Funky Claude's Bar manager to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as hotel cleanliness
In Room Dining & Pureaty Café Supervisor
- Supervise the In Room Dining team in collaboration with the In Room Dining Supervisor
- Participate in department management and be responsible in the absence of the supervisor
- Know the operation of room service, VIP equipment, and Pureaty Café
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene measures at the level of trays, carts, equipment, and premises of IRD and Pureaty Café
- Master the menu offerings, their garnishes, content and preparation methods, and master promotion
Terrasse du Petit Palais - Supervisor
- Personally take care of clients (reservations, seating, order taking, farewells, cashier tasks if necessary) and ensure colleagues under supervision serve clients efficiently and timely
- Participate in beverage inventory
- Participate in all required administrative work areas, including but not limited to: planning, opening/closing tasks, cleaning and maintenance checklists, employee action plans, employee evaluations, recruitment
- Coordinate staff training
- Participate in regular cleaning inspections with the Terrasse du Petit Palais manager to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as hotel cleanliness
Observation and support of F&B administration by the F&B Coordinator / F&B Director.
- Be initiated to the different budgets related to the F&B department
- Manage pressure and urgent demands from other departments regarding stock and budget management
- Be exposed to logistics and organization of the different F&B departments
- Be in contact with suppliers and service providers
- Understand department dynamics and effectively plan colleagues
- Plan and prepare the hotel and department effectively for future audits.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized hotel school or university within the last two years
- Minimum of 1 year experience in food and beverage service
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in a 4* or 5* hotel is an asset
- Fluent in spoken and written French and English
- Flexibility, adaptability, and stress resistance
- Very good communication skills
- Flexibility and availability in schedules

VISA REQUIREMENTS
To be able to work in Switzerland, the candidate must have a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
