The Rüegsau schools include the two school locations Rüegsauschachen and Rüegsbach. In Rüegsauschachen, nine primary classes, two special support classes, three kindergartens, and ten classes at the secondary level I are taught. The advertised position concerns the Rüegsauschachen school location.

Tasks
You will jointly take on the co-class teacher role with the current class teacher for a 5th/6th grade class.
The current class teacher is reducing her workload (maternity leave) and looks forward to jointly performing the co-class teacher role with you in the future or - if you wish - fully transferring the role to you. She will continue to teach the class part-time and is willing to discuss with you the appropriate division of subjects and functions.
The open workload includes:
• Co-class teacher role (or, depending on agreement, the full class teacher role possible)
• 3-5 lessons German
• 6 lessons Mathematics (4 lessons in the whole class, 2 lessons in the year-group classes)
• 4-5 lessons NMG (Nature, Man, Society)
• 2 lessons Visual Arts
• 1.5 lessons Media and Computer Science
• 3 lessons Technical Design (in the half class – one semester per group)
Additional lessons in German, NMG, or French are possible upon request. The total workload can also be reduced by agreement.
Please indicate your desired total workload in your application and supplement your letter with any adjustment requests regarding the teaching subjects if necessary.
Further tasks:
• You participate in school events, conferences, and internal working group meetings as part of the professional mandate.
• You work closely with the class teachers, the rest of the class team, the IF teacher in the class, the school social work, and the school management.
