Correctional Services and Reintegration (JuWe) is part of the Directorate of Justice and the Interior of the Canton of Zurich and is responsible for criminal and measure enforcement as well as the implementation of various types of detention. For our 1,400 employees from around 40 professions, the successful social reintegration of offenders, the prevention of recidivism, as well as the detention and preparation for the departure of persons without a valid residence permit are of particular importance.
The Controlling Department plays a central role and is looking for a committed, empathetic, and team-oriented personality starting March 1, 2026. If you are eager to creatively participate in exciting projects and actively help shape the further development of controlling, we look forward to your application. The internship is limited to 12 months and offers you the chance to gain valuable practical experience.
Your tasks
- Co-design of concepts and financial statements: Support in the creation of concepts and a projection closing
- Reporting and evaluations: Collaboration on reports and execution of the consolidated development and financial planning (KEF)
- Projects and process optimization: Assistance with projects, process analysis, and support in the digitization of workflows
- Internal Control System (ICS): Participation in the review and documentation of the internal control system
- Further development of key figures: Support in optimizing and developing key figures and indicators
Your profile
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics
- Quick comprehension and strong organizational talent
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as confident writing skills
- Initiative and independent working style with a solution-oriented outlook
- Enjoyment of communication and teamwork, especially in dealing with various stakeholders
- High resilience even in challenging situations
