Join in – your commitment counts! To complement our janitor team in Sihlfeld, we are looking for a dedicated technical janitor with solid knowledge starting October 2026 or by arrangement.

You will independently take over the maintenance and management of your own settlements in the Zurich-Altstetten area. Look forward to a varied portfolio with buildings of different ages and apply your technical know-how purposefully!

Your tasks

• You monitor the technical systems.
• You are responsible for the maintenance and repair of rental properties.
• You coordinate and accompany external companies during service, cleaning, and maintenance work.
• You handle tenant concerns in cooperation with other departments.
• You are responsible for maintenance and repair tasks in the context of apartment handovers.
• You perform various administrative tasks such as account coding, repair reports, settlement budgets, etc.
• You provide four to five weeks of on-call duty per year.
• You work in mutual deputy function in a two-person team in a newly created settlement and will be trained there according to the operating concept.

Your profile

• You have a technical basic education, preferably as a sanitary or heating installer, ideally supplemented by further training as a federally certified janitor and NIV-15 training.
• You must have several years of experience as a technical janitor and proven practice in independently carrying out repairs in the tenant environment.
• You hold a category B driving license.
• You work in a structured manner, are in good physical condition, and work independently, reliably, and responsibly.
• You ensure a well-maintained appearance of the settlement with a trained eye and make an important contribution to the preservation of the value of our properties.
• You interact daily with our residents in a friendly, service-oriented, and reliable manner.
• You actively support your colleagues as a team player.
• You perform administrative tasks routinely thanks to your very good German and MS Office skills.
