With nearly 1,000 employees, the Psychiatry Department's mission is to detect and treat increasingly frequent and diverse pathologies while respecting patients and their relatives. The department, using cognitive and affective neurosciences, a true flagship of the Geneva site, also carries out academic and clinical research at a high level of quality.
Quality teaching is also provided by the department to students as well as to doctors in training for specialist certification by raising awareness of psychological, biological, and social dimensions. The department also supports quality training in psychotherapy.
The adult psychiatry service is responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders in adults and psychiatric disorders beginning in young adults, within the framework of a public health mission. In the outpatient and inpatient units of the service, multidisciplinary teams provide care integrating biological, psychotherapeutic, and social treatments in a network with external partners.
Job Description

You use psychotherapeutic techniques supporting recovery (exposure, behavioral activation, etc.).
You provide care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. In this context, you promote interdisciplinary clinical reflection on complex clinical situations through your psychotherapeutic and psychopathological skills.
You actively participate in research activities (collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, presentation of results).
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in psychology (or equivalent training) and possess a federal specialist title in psychotherapy or have progressed in training in this field (CBT or systemic orientation).
You have at least 3 years of practice in psychotherapy.
