Task

How you advance KPMG

• Conducting and supporting audits of consolidated and annual financial statements according to IFRS and Swiss accounting standards, both on-site at our clients and in a flexible hybrid work environment


• Analyzing and evaluating business processes and workflows of our national and international clients to gain deep insights into the insurance industry


• Develop your technical expertise by dealing with complex topics such as regulatory requirements, risk management, and advanced accounting principles


• Use state-of-the-art technology to conduct "Next Generation Audits" and thus increase the accuracy and efficiency of our audit processes


• Work closely with experienced professionals to foster a positive team culture and a strong customer-oriented mindset within the audit team


• Receive comprehensive training and mentoring to accelerate your professional development, with opportunities for continuous learning and growth


• Participate in cross-departmental projects to extend your knowledge beyond auditing to other business areas

Why you are successful

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics or a comparable field of study or a Swiss federal diploma in fiduciary / finance and accounting


• Initial professional experience in the insurance sector or financial industry is an advantage


• Highly organized personality with exceptional attention to detail and perseverance


• Strong ability to work independently, with solid analytical skills to evaluate information and form well-founded judgments


• Resilient, proactive, and customer-oriented personality with a positive attitude towards solving complex problems and addressing customer needs


• Willingness to learn and adaptability, with a proactive approach to developing new skills and using innovative technologies in auditing


• Excellent German skills and very good English skills
