The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. The Strategy & Communication department is the driver for the implementation and further development of the corporate strategy and lays the foundations for the management of IVBE. It accompanies change processes and ensures a coherent and efficient flow of information internally and attractive communication externally.

What you can achieve with us

• You support the definition and monitoring of corporate goals and ensure effective strategy implementation.
• You advise managers on strategic and conceptual issues – with foresight and pragmatism.
• You lead the topic group "Strategy Implementation and Monitoring" and define its working methods and processes.
• You accompany organizational units in their planning and change processes.
• You bring new ideas for the further development of the IVBE strategy and translate them into concrete fields of action.
• You actively contribute to a learning organization – through systematic monitoring, evaluation, and reflection.
• Are you a strong leader? Then you can take over the personnel leadership of the "Strategy Support & Control" team and represent the head of the Strategy & Communication department in his absence.

What skills are important to us

• Several years of experience in strategy development, support, and monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills and enjoyment in making complex contexts understandable.
• Experience in moderating participation processes and workshops.
• Knowledge in monitoring & evaluation, project management, and strategic consulting.
• Strong communication skills and sensitivity in dealing with different stakeholders.
• A leadership personality who motivates, provides orientation, and lives team spirit.
• Completed university studies (e.g., social or economic sciences) and ideally further training in strategy, monitoring & evaluation.
• We are a bilingual (German–French) company – active knowledge of the other language is therefore desired, level B1.

Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as mobile, paid breaks
