HR Assistant for the Department of Clinical Neurosciences
To complete the HR team of the Department of Clinical Neurosciences (DNC), we are looking for an HR assistant with an activity rate between 80% and 100% for February 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The DNC brings together the neurosurgery, neurology, neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation services, the Leenaards Memory Center, the Neuroscience Research Center, as well as the Spinal Surgery Service. The role and missions of the Human Resources Unit are to assist, advise, support, and back, in the HR field, all hierarchical managers and collaborators in terms of follow-up and development, both individual and team. The HR Unit is a partner supporting projects with HR impact at the level of work organizations, within the framework of the department's strategic plan and in accordance with the institutional policy of our CHUV HR Department.
The missions of the HR Unit revolve around six dimensions:
- Strategic partner of the departmental management
- Management and development of human capital
- Specialist in the administrative HR field
- Change management
- Implementation, development, and monitoring of HR management processes and tools in connection with the CHUV HR Department
- Maintenance of the department's HR administrative processes.
Mission
- You ensure the administrative follow-up of the personnel life cycle according to HR management rules, procedures, and standards
- You handle all secretarial tasks related to the activities of the HR unit
- You ensure the link between the HR unit, the department's administrative and financial management, and the CHUV Human Resources Directorate
- You respond to HR questions from all DNC collaborators and managers
- You assist the HR advisor in tasks related to the recruitment process
- You participate in the development of the HR unit.
Profile
- You hold a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification and an HR manager certificate
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the HR field
- You have knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework in force within the Vaud cantonal administration (LPers/RLPers)
- You have excellent writing skills (grammar and spelling) and master common office tools
- You are a sociable, dynamic, and flexible person
- You work autonomously while having a strong team spirit and good communication skills
- You are organized, precise, and rigorous, you attach importance to the quality of your work and respect deadlines.
Depending on the profile, the salary class will be between levels 6 and 7.
