We are seeking a proactive HR Officer to
provide high-quality human resources support across the full employee
lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings solid HR administration experience,
ideally gained in an international environment such as hospitality. This role
is essential in ensuring HR operations run smoothly and in full compliance with
Swiss legislation and internal policies.
Main Requirements:
- HR
Diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum
of 2 years of relevant HR experience, including administration,
recruitment, payroll coordination, and employee event organization.
- Solid
knowledge of Swiss labor law, social security, taxation, and
employment-related processes.
- Fluent
in French and English, both spoken and written; additional languages are
an asset.
- Proficient
in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with an
HRIS is a plus.
- Excellent
organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage
confidential information discreetly.
- Customer-oriented,
empathetic, and diplomatic, with a positive and collaborative approach.
- Work experience and a strong understanding of the hospitality industry are essential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee
the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding to departure, ensuring
accurate HR data and documentation.
- Administer
and support recruitment processes, including job postings, CV screening,
interviews, applicant communication, and reference checks.
- Manage
the full recruitment cycle in collaboration with the HR Business Partner
(HRBP).
- Organize
and facilitate employee onboarding and training sessions.
- Advise
employees on HR processes, insurance, social security, tax, and
immigration-related matters.
- Coordinate
monthly payroll data collection and collaborate with the internal payroll
team.
- Manage
time-tracking administration (e.g. vacation, illness, accident,
maternity), performing regular checks and issuing reminders to ensure
compliance with holiday and overtime policies.
- Draft
general HR documents, including work certificates and attestations; update
the organizational chart regularly.
- Contribute
to fostering a positive company culture, bringing our Les Roches Way of
Work philosophy to life.
- Support
employee relations and assist the HRBP in handling workplace cases and
ensuring a respectful, supportive environment.
- Take an
active role in campus life and organize employee events and activities
(e.g. birthday celebrations, summer BBQ, New Year party) as well as
health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Prepare
the monthly HR newsletter and contribute to other internal communication
initiatives.
- Participate
in HR projects and contribute to continuous process improvements, as
assigned by the HRBP.
