Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) for the Pediatrics Department
The Woman-Mother-Child Department is looking for community health and care assistants at an activity rate between 90% - 100%, for the Pediatrics Service. The starting date is scheduled for April 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Woman-Mother-Child Department (DFME) includes the Gynecology, Obstetrics, Neonatology, Pediatrics, and Child and Adolescent Surgery Services. More than 1,500 professionals work within this department. We care for women throughout their lives in gynecological, obstetrical, and psychosocial aspects, as well as children from birth to adolescence.
Mission
- You work closely with the nursing team to care for patients
- You responsibly and autonomously support patients in aspects of their care
- You ensure the execution and monitoring of care delegated by qualified staff
- You perform medico-technical acts on delegation, in care situations
- You carry out administrative and logistical tasks related to your activity, mainly linked to patient care.
Profile
- You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC)
- You have experience in pediatrics
- You are dynamic, committed, motivated, and responsible
- You have knowledge of institutional software, n (Soarian electronic patient record), an asset
- You have excellent command of the French language, both spoken and written (level B2).
