• Analysis & Optimization of underwriting processes in the corporate client sector: You take responsibility for the end-to-end process chains in the divisions of group life insurance (KPV), property and liability. You identify improvement potentials and design lean, automated workflows in coordination with relevant stakeholders and IT.
• Process design & digitization: You define process goals, develop process documentation, and implement best practices. You introduce new technologies and methods (e.g., AI, RPA, Process Mining, Business Process Outsourcing) to make our processes more efficient and digital.
• Process ownership & community lead: You are the process owner responsible for the entire underwriting processes end-to-end. You organize developments and innovations around the processes in a newly established process community in which all relevant process stakeholders participate.
• Business understanding & analysis: You have experience in business analysis, ideally in the insurance environment, and are familiar with technical concepts such as API interfaces, IT architecture, system integration, automation, and cloud.
• Project management & change: As a process champion, you independently lead optimization projects and manage change initiatives together with cross-functional teams. You actively drive the (digital) transformation forward and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaboration & communication: You work closely with operational underwriting, specialist departments, product management, IT, and other areas. With your communicative nature, you engage stakeholders and coordinate cross-departmentally to find the best solutions together.
• Key figures & monitoring: You establish meaningful KPIs and dashboards to make the success of improvements measurable. This ensures that optimizations have a sustainable effect and that we achieve our efficiency goals.

• Process management & OPEX: You have experience in process management and optimization and can demonstrate concrete successes in the dimension of Operational Excellence.
• Project & change management: You have experience in leading change or transformation projects.
• Insurance & customer focus: You bring experience in the insurance business or underwriting, ideally in the corporate client business (group life, property, and liability insurance). A strong customer orientation helps you consistently align processes with the needs of our customers and business partners.
• Analytical & conceptual skills: You have a networked way of thinking, a good grasp, and enjoy quickly familiarizing yourself with diverse topics and complex issues.
• Strong communication & networked: You are a team player and strong communicator. You explain complex matters clearly and inspire colleagues for changes. Courage to think anew and take personal responsibility characterize you.
• Data & technology affinity: You use data and modern technologies to evaluate and continuously improve processes. Ideally, you have already gained initial experience with SQL, Python, PowerBI, Celonis, or similar tools.
• Language skills: You are proficient in German, fluent in English, and can communicate in French if necessary.
