Administration
A medical secretary for the Pediatric Surgery Unit
To complete our administrative team dedicated to the Pediatric Surgery Service, we are looking, from April 2026, for a medical secretary with an activity rate between 70 and 80%.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Within the Woman-Mother-Child Department (DFME), the Pediatric Surgery Service offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children aged 0 to 18 years. It maintains close links with other services in the department such as neonatology, pediatrics, adolescent medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics.
Mission
- You ensure the production and flow of medical documents and information internally and externally
- You invoice medical reports according to TARDOC rules
- You provide support in managing the organization of the unit's consultation
- You provide administrative support to the unit
- You actively contribute to the quality, development, and improvement of the unit's services.
Profile
- You hold a medical secretary training and/or a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification
- You have an excellent command of the French language and spelling
- You already have professional experience in the hospital environment and are familiar with medical terminology
- You demonstrate rigor and have a sense of organization and priorities
- You see yourself as a flexible, attentive, discreet, autonomous person with a spirit of mutual aid
- You can demonstrate good mastery of common IT tools (MS-Office) as well as CHUV IT tools (AXYA, Ultragenda, Soarian, Archimède).
