About the job
In the middle of the green Rotmonten district, within walking distance of the University of St.Gallen and the city center, lies the Holzweid Continuing Education Center – an attractive campus with two seminar buildings and a guesthouse. The University of St.Gallen uses the modern seminar rooms for continuing education programs and other events. External companies can also rent the rooms by the day or week. In the HSG Alumni House, the university-owned guesthouse, 54 stylish rooms are available to course participants, lecturers, HSG members, and alumni.
Your tasks
- Administration: General administrative tasks in the back office
- Reception: Caring for guests of the HSG Alumni House as well as seminar participants at the reception in the main building
- Banquet: Active creation of detailed confirmations for customers and ensuring the smooth running of seminars and events at the WBZ
Your profile
- At least 2 years of experience, either in the administrative field or in hospitality/gastronomy.
- Microsoft 365
- Willingness to work early and late shifts, weekends, and holidays. Handling emergency calls (outside working hours) among others through VüCH, night porter, etc. High service orientation and customer focus, neat appearance, and pleasant manners.
