The Zug Cantonal Hospital is a modern acute care hospital for extended basic care and has over 180 beds. Our approximately 1,200 employees care for around 11,500 inpatient and over 70,000 outpatient patients each year. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency center.
For our Surgical Clinic we are looking for a Medical Secretary from December 1, 2025 or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

Responsible for the consultation hours of a senior physician in visceral surgery
Assistance and representation in venous surgery (including assistance with sclerotherapy)
Creating operation and consultation reports from dictation using a speech recognition system
Creating discharge reports
Administrative tasks and managing the electronic patient record

Your Profile

Completed training as a medical secretary or medical practice assistant
Experience in consultation organization and reporting
Willingness to provide simple assistance in the surgical consultation
Independent, structured, and efficient working style
Good knowledge of English
