The Section of Archaeology and Ancient Sciences (ASA) of the Faculty of Letters at the University of Lausanne is advertising a position for an archaeologist operations manager in Roman provincial archaeology.

Contract duration: indefinite
Work rate: 70%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny
Your Activities
Conducting ASA field operations.
Setting up field missions and managing their logistics.
Managing the plans and topography of ASA training sites and excavations.
Writing field reports and participating in publications and other research dissemination activities.
Supervising and training students during field missions.
Financial management of ASA field missions.
Maintenance and monitoring of the ASA vehicle fleet.
Ensuring safety on ASA sites.
Your Profile
Master of Arts in Roman provincial archaeology (degree must be obtained by the start date).
Experience in conducting excavations and writing reports.
Skills in managing plans and geographic information systems (GIS).
Experience in archaeological site logistics.
Knowledge of administrative and safety frameworks for archaeological sites.
Other specialized archaeological skills are welcome.
