GIS Specialist (immediate start) 60%
Geoinformation moves Zurich. It is involved in every planning, construction project, and decision with foresight. We ensure that this information reaches exactly where it is needed – for example via geo.zh.ch. We make geodata visible, understandable, and effective. As a GIS specialist with a flair for cartography, you will take on a central role in the GIS department at the Office for Spatial Development. You can expect a dedicated team of 20 people and the full range of geoinformation topics in the canton of Zurich.
You independently handle GIS assignments for our cantonal offices and specialist departments. This includes consulting in the areas of cartography, modeling, and quality assurance of geodata. Furthermore, you create maps as well as web GIS applications. You are experienced in ArcGIS Pro, apps on ArcGIS Enterprise, and FME. Networked thinking, team spirit, clear communication, and enjoyment of direct exchange with customers characterize you.
You have a university of applied sciences or university degree in cartography, geoinformation, or a related field and bring several years of professional experience in the GIS environment.
