In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Labor (AFA) contributes to strengthening the location Zurich. The Consulting & Placement area is responsible for integrating job seekers into the labor market and includes, among others, the Regional Employment Centers (RAV).
The Job Reporting Center (SMZ) acts as a professional cantonal recruitment agency responsible for implementing the job reporting obligation according to Art. 21a of the Foreigners and Integration Act (AIG). We are an innovative and agile department and are looking for a proactive support for this responsible task for our team starting December 1, 2025, or by arrangement.

Your tasks
- Review and publication of job postings
- Advising employers regarding the job reporting obligation
- Offering placement services according to the guidelines of the Job Reporting Center and the needs of employers
- Placement of job seekers in compliance with legally prescribed deadlines
- Receiving and processing feedback from employers
- Customer relationship management for employers
- Data entry, processing, and archiving
- Close cooperation and coordination with the RAV of the canton of Zurich
- Monthly control of time tracking
- IT user support
- General support tasks (lists/statistics, evaluations, material orders, etc.)
- Support in the practical training of the apprentice
Your profile
- Completed EFZ apprenticeship and several years of professional experience in the gastronomy, technology, or construction industry
- Experience in recruitment and knowledge of the Zurich labor market are an advantage
- Precise working method, confident handling of time pressure, and efficiency in administration
- Organizational skills
- Convincing and appropriate communication skills as well as strong sales skills on the phone
- Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Confident German in spoken and written form, additional languages are an advantage
- Reliability and a healthy sense of humor
