At the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy of the Institute of Psychology at the University of Bern, a position as a PhD candidate is to be filled from January 1, 2026 (or by agreement).
The advertised position is located in the area of internet-based interventions for mental disorders. The department has a focus in this research area. The position is limited to 4 years.

• Independent preparation of a dissertation in the field of internet-based interventions.
• Supervision of master’s and bachelor’s theses.
• Participation in university teaching (seminars, exercises).
• Scientific publishing at an international level.

• Master’s degree (or near completion) in psychology.
• Interest in clinical psychology, psychotherapy, and digital healthcare.
• Initial experience in empirical research, ideally with quantitative methods.
• Independent and reliable working style, teamwork skills, and high social competence.
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.

• Collaboration in a committed, interdisciplinary networked team with high national and international visibility.
• Opportunity to pursue a PhD in a highly topical and practice-relevant research field at the interface of clinical psychology and digital health.
• Varied activities with involvement in teaching, research, and student supervision.
• Close scientific supervision and participation in international publications.
