The EFAJE is a network that brings together 31 municipalities from the Gros-de-Vaud district and surrounding areas wishing to unite their efforts to manage and develop quality day care services in order to better meet the needs of their citizens. To date, three sectors are represented: Family Day Care, which includes about seventy family caregivers, eight preschool structures, and nineteen after-school structures. We are looking, for a fixed term (maternity leave), for a:
Childcare Educator ES/HES at 60% (reference 26.2 BUD)
The position is located at the Budron Daycare in Mont-sur-Lausanne, a facility with a capacity of 44 places. The position is to be filled in the toddler group.
Working days are: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Your missions:
- Provide quality support to the children received, ensuring their well-being and safety in accordance with institutional values and current regulations.
- Identify quality-related issues based on your theoretical knowledge. Propose courses of action and implement them in the interest of the child.
- Foster a quality and exchange relationship with children, families, colleagues, and external services.
Your profile:
You have the ability to carry out relevant, effective actions deployed responsibly, autonomously, and committed. You have extensive experience in daycare and are familiar with positive discipline. You are organized and creative, have a taste for action, and a desire to improve yourself. Your ability to work in a team and adapt, your interpersonal skills, as well as your professional conscience, make you a real asset to the team.
You are Swiss or have a valid residence permit as well as a clean criminal record.
