Solution Architect (m/f/x) - 80-100%

In a context of digital transformation, our company is strengthening its Solution Architecture team to support the start of the implementation phase.

We are recruiting a Solution Architect (m/f/x) - 80-100%. This role is positioned between the Enterprise Architects (centralized within the same organization) and the Technical Architects (distributed across the various technical operational lines).

Main activities and tasks:

• Collaborate with business and technical representatives for the evaluation and selection of solutions or technologies.
• Design and lead the implementation of an application, technology, and data integration architecture at the scale of a group of applications or specific enterprise technologies according to the business strategy.
• Provide architectural guidance to project teams.
• Offer advisory support to technical and infrastructure architects to ensure that the solution implementation aligns with the overall enterprise architecture.
• Understand, advocate, and strengthen the principles of information technology strategies.
• Analyze the IT environment (manage, develop, and transform the company) to detect critical failures and recommend improvement solutions.
• Provide hands-on experience and contribute to maintaining the architecture repository (standards, best practices, catalogs, etc.)

Degrees, experience, and skills

• Higher education in computer science such as HES, Bachelor / Master, EPFL
• 10 years or more of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a technical/solutions architect role
• Experience in large-scale transformation projects
• In-depth knowledge of inter-application data integration
• Experience with Cloud (Microsoft Azure and SaaS solutions) & in designing and implementing APIs
• Front-end knowledge (Microfrontend, React, Angular)
• Desired experience with ERP (ideally Guidewire) and CRM (ideally MS Dynamics)
• Experience in managing the enterprise architecture repository, ideally using a product (Sparx, IRIS, Leanx, Bizzdesign, etc.)

You have excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Additionally, you have the ability to understand perspectives both in the short and long term regarding the architectures to be implemented.

Comfortable in writing and speaking, you are recognized for your interpersonal communication skills.
