We are looking for you as a Financial Accountant 80-100%

Our finance department is looking for an experienced individual who enjoys both accounting tasks and financial analyses. In this role, you will take care of the general ledger as well as various accounting tasks. If needed, you will also support the head of accounting as their deputy.

Your main tasks

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all EY Switzerland companies according to Swiss GAAP and management guidelines

• Reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers
• Reconciliation of general ledger / payroll accounts
• Coordination of expense and payment transactions
• VAT reconciliation and reporting

• Cost control and allocation for employees of foreign EY companies
• Coordination with the Shared Service Centers in Poland and India
• Collaboration with foreign companies of the EY network
• Optimization and digitization of accounting processes
• Various special tasks and project work complete the range of duties.

What we are looking for

• You have completed further training in finance and accounting or are currently undergoing relevant further training.

• You have several years of professional experience, ideally in a service company with an international focus

• Very good communication skills in German and English are required
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Confident and experienced handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• You have knowledge of the Swiss VAT law
• High service and customer orientation as well as confident handling of different contacts

• Affinity for numbers as well as a structured working method with high quality awareness
