About the job
You are an appreciative, spiritual, integrative, socially and culturally committed personality. You are enthusiastic about shaping the development of the pastoral area. Your participative leadership style and open communication distinguish you. You maintain ecumenical and interreligious exchange. A consensual and partnership-based collaboration within the church's dual structure is a matter of course for you.
What you will specifically do:
- You lead the Pastoral Area of the City of Lucerne and manage the community leaders and other persons.
- You further develop the pastoral area. In the change project "Further Development of the Pastoral Area," you will be supported by an external agency.
- You take on the leadership of the parishes St. Anton – St. Michael with a 30% workload. You will be administratively supported by another leader with a 100% workload as well as by a dedicated team. You design people-centered liturgies and attentively and empathetically take care of pastoral care.
- If elected by the community leaders and pastors in the pastoral area, you will also take a seat on the church council with a 20% workload.
What you bring:
- a completed theology degree with professional introduction from the Diocese of Basel (or equivalent training)
- an explicit desire to live a shared leadership model and transform the organization
- training and experience in leadership
- joy in shaping, enthusiasm, and persuasiveness
- analytical thinking, teamwork skills as well as networked and out-of-the-box thinking
