Job Description

For one of our clients in the public sector, we are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect.

The objective is to design the architecture and support the technical realization of
several requests or projects.

A confirmed architect is required on these projects to design and formalize solutions
in compliance with the standards and norms defined by the enterprise architecture.

Education
- Higher education degree in computer science (ES) or federal certificate or HES diploma
or equivalent

Mandatory skills:
- More than 6 years of experience as a solutions architect

Important skills:
- Excellent ability to design information system architectures, to
urbanize and model
- Excellent ability to collaborate with the entire project team in an
Agile environment
- Mastery of modern and legacy Java solution architectures
- 10 years of experience in Java application development and maintenance
- Excellent knowledge of Java Frameworks (Spring / Hibernate, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of development and continuous integration tools
- Proven experience in the realization and maintenance of service-oriented architectures
(webservices SOAP/REST) and applications under Spring (Tomcat)
- Very good knowledge of databases, particularly Oracle (DDL, DML)
and PL/SQL language
- Proven experience in implementing vendor solutions
- Expertise in performance diagnosis and improvement.
- Experience with web and client-server environments, as well as associated
constraints (security, high availability)
- Ability to adapt to legacy environments or technologies

Optional skills that would be a plus
- Experience on an Agile development project
- Experience in modeling with Orbus iServer
- Knowledge in Archimate and BPMN modeling
- Good knowledge in application security (OWASP,
authentication, PKI, cryptography...)
- Experience with issues related to system operation and interoperability
(application bus, JMS)
- Knowledge of Cloud principles

Main activities
- Within projects (Build):
- Define and model the solution architecture during the project design phase
- Ensure validation of this architecture with the IT services of OCSIN
- Contribute to detailed design phases to provide technical feasibility opinions and/or propose alternative solutions
- Contribute to the preparation and conduct of design reviews (Hermès)
- Support the development team or supplier by ensuring compliance with defined architectural principles
- Provide progress reports to the IT team and escalate alerts
- Ensure the quality of developments
- Ensure, with the project manager, the associated estimations and revisions
- Within maintenance activities (Run):
- Analyze technical obsolescence and information security issues and propose treatment and improvement plans
- Assist application managers in resolving complex incidents or anomalies
