Job Description
- Maintaining quality and performance standards by monitoring the operation of networked medical devices within the Swiss Medical Network
- Building a direct relationship with users of medical devices and representing them to the technical teams.
- Ensuring technological market observation for medical devices and advising teams on the best options. Specifically implementing AI tools to optimize processes.
- Providing suitable infrastructure for networking medical devices that meets the demands of a leading clinic group.
- Ensuring the integration of medical products into hospital information systems according to current standards and proven procedures.
- Collecting and analyzing user needs, creating functional specifications and precise requirements documents.
- Leading projects related to medical devices, from conception to implementation, in collaboration with medical teams and external partners.
- Managing the lifecycle (installation, optimization, development, and support) of medical products
- Management and control of the inventory solution for the group's medical devices
Qualifications
- Completed training in medical technology, computer science, or equivalent.
- Expertise in medical devices used in hospitals (patient monitoring, imaging, sterilization, IoT) and HL7 and DICOM standards.
- Experience in project management.
- Knowledge of regulations related to materiovigilance, MepV, and Swissmedic requirements for connecting medical devices (specifically software)
- Proven experience in managing medical devices in a hospital environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL, Atlassian Confluence, ServiceNow, and DevOps is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, remain calm and solution-oriented during stressful times.
- Willingness to work closely with IT and medical teams as well as medical device providers.
- Independence, team spirit, innovation, motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Native German speaker, excellent French and good English skills. Italian is a plus.
