Your responsibilities
Within the activities of the Clinical Chemistry department, we are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to assist laboratory technicians in producing medical analyses and contribute to the smooth operation of the analytical chain of the Coppet Core Lab. The position reports hierarchically to the Routine Lab Manager and the Clinical Chemistry Technical Leader and is part of a highly regulated, automated, and quality-oriented environment.
- First-level maintenance and upkeep of the analytical production chain
Reception, control, and storage of deliveries of reagents and small equipment
Monitoring ongoing analyses and searching for samples if necessary
Technical assistance as needed:
preparation and loading of samples onto the production chain
refilling and supplying reagents and small equipment
Management and sorting of waste according to current procedures
Storage and organization of the cold room and the temperature-controlled reserve
Active collaboration with other laboratory departments
Performing any other tasks according to service needs
Required skills
Ability to independently perform assigned tasks after training
Rigor, reliability, and sense of responsibility
Strict adherence to procedures, quality standards, and safety rules
Team spirit and good communication
Organizational skills and responsiveness in a production environment
