For the Office for Food Safety and Animal Health, we are looking for an officer in charge of veterinary hygiene administration starting April 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- You provide support to the epizootic service and the public veterinary service in all administrative matters.
- You work within a team and take on varied and challenging administrative tasks. These include excellent editorial skills, preparation of decisions, and telephone service.
- You maintain close contact with official and freelance veterinarians and with users in the agriculture and meat processing sectors.
- Completed basic commercial training and professional experience
- Independent, reliable, and precise working method
- Insight, especially in the use of various IT applications
- Excellent knowledge of German in spoken and written form as well as good knowledge of spoken Italian
- Ability to work in a team and handle large workloads, flexibility and efficiency; knowledge of veterinary medicine, agriculture, and meat production
