The Authority for the Protection of Children and Adults (APUC) is here for people in distress. Those who need help and support can rely on APUC. No day is like another with us. In the interdisciplinary team, we actively design a secure future for adults, families, children, and youth in need of protection.
For May 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for a member of APUC for the APUC Graubünden, Northern Graubünden branch.

Your field of responsibilities
- Make decisions within the interdisciplinary judicial board and take co-responsibility for ordering and adapting protection measures for children and adults
- Manage assigned procedures as well as draft and prepare the respective decisions
- Legally assess procedural and substantive law questions and ensure the correct application of the law
- Conduct own investigations and assign investigation tasks
- Personally hear persons in need of protection and other involved persons
- Advise and support prosecutors
- Collaborate with municipalities and external specialized institutions and offices
- Contribute to the further development of the existing organization and specific standards
What we wish from you
- Degree from a university or a higher education institution or equivalent training, preferably in law or social work, pedagogy, psychology, or psychiatry
- Several years of professional experience in legal social work, preferably in the field of child and adult protection at an APUC or a professional guardianship, at a court or juvenile prosecution office
- Very good oral and written knowledge of German
- Great pleasure in working in a team
- High social and communication competence as well as empathy for people in difficult life situations
- Flexibility, strong ability to handle pressure, and decisiveness even in difficult situations
- Precise and independent working style as well as a strong sense of responsibility
- Very good language skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Willingness to provide on-call service
- Category B driving license
