WD comtec AG is a specialized total and general contractor in the telecommunications environment and operates state-of-the-art fiber optic and HFC networks. In this exciting and dynamic environment, we are looking for reinforcement for our construction team immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Independent splicing work in the fiber optic backbone network
• Splicing work in FTTH rollout (POP, sleeves, BEP, OTO)
• Measurement and testing work in fiber optic technology
• Assistance with network construction work (support cable pulling/blowing)
• Support with in-house work (OTO sockets)

Must haves

• Experienced handling of fiber optic cables
• Confident handling of splicing and measuring devices
• Reliability and punctuality
• Driver's license category B
• Motivation and personal responsibility
• Fluent German in spoken and written form

Nice to have

• Experience in troubleshooting
• HFC/CATV knowledge
• Network construction and civil engineering knowledge
• Willingness for night work and on-call duty
• Completed vocational training as a network electrician EFZ telecommunications or related professions
