Reference: CLS/RH/2026.729 / Contract type: Fixed-Term Contract of 5 months at 100% / Hours: 12-hour shifts / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Why do we need you?

Due to a maternity leave in the team, we are looking for someone to provide reinforcement to the team for a duration of 5 months.

What will you be expected to do?

• Ensure the proper execution of delegated medical acts and take responsibility by demonstrating mastery of technical skills,
• Be able to adapt to situations of varying complexity levels and/or fluctuations in workload,
• Develop meticulous observation to prevent and anticipate any complications,
• Ability to communicate and coordinate care within an interprofessional team and with the patient and their relatives,
• Ensure initiatives to improve the efficiency of nursing care based on scientific evidence and develop self-assessment and learning skills.

Essentials:

• You hold a diploma in nursing HES or an equivalent title recognized by the Swiss Red Cross,
• You demonstrate versatility in various medical and surgical disciplines,
• Show dynamism, rigor, anticipation, precision, autonomy, and loyalty,
• You are able to manage your stress in emergency situations,
• You possess the scientific, technical, and human skills necessary to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Your assets:

• You hold a federal diploma as an expert in intensive care EPD ES recognized by the Swiss Society of Intensive Medicine (SGI-SSMI) / or the Post-Diploma Certificate in intermediate and continuous care (CPDSI)
