As School Principal 1, you are responsible for the pedagogical and operational management of all kindergartens as well as the Rans school building. You work according to the legislation of the canton, the municipal and school regulations, and ensure proper school operations in the assigned school unit.

In the area of organization and school development, you work closely with the rectorate and collaborate with the School Leadership Conference (SLK) in all important areas. The SLK consists of the rectorate, secretariat, and the three school principals. It is supplemented as needed by representatives from ICT, special education, or infrastructure.

We expect an empathetic personality with the ability to understand the concerns of kindergarten and teaching staff as well as the children and to optimally support their work or promotion. With pronounced interpersonal skills, you solve issues around the kindergartens and the Rans school in an uncomplicated and practical manner. You know how to inspire and convince with your demeanor and in direct contact. Appreciative and respectful interaction and exchange with parents, employees, superiors, and authorities is important to you. In addition, you have high resilience as well as organizational and decision-making skills.

Another prerequisite for this versatile and demanding task is a successfully completed training as a primary or kindergarten teacher with several years of teaching experience. Completed school management training is desirable for this function.
