The Emma Couvreu Childhood Foundation, since 1829, has been actively committed to the reception, protection, and support of minors at risk in their development. Our services are aimed at children and also at their parents. We implement our actions in accordance with values that we embody daily. Our activities are fully aligned with the minor protection policy established by the State of Vaud. Strong in its commitment, the Foundation manages 5 boarding schools and 6 outpatient units, mobilizing more than 250 collaborators for this purpose.
As part of an exceptional humanitarian project, the Pompaples Children's Home was urgently opened in 2022 to accommodate 61 Ukrainian orphans aged 1 to 12 years and their companions. To ensure optimal support until the end of the humanitarian mission, we are looking for several social educators from 80% to 100%, for fixed-term contracts.
Job description
- Accompany daily and support Ukrainian orphans benefiting from minor protection measures aged 1 to 12 years
- Develop socio-educational interventions aimed at promoting their developmental recovery
- Work closely with the Ukrainian educational teams accompanying the children
- Manage daily and administrative tasks
Your profile
- Hold one of the following diplomas, or an equivalent recognized title:
- HES or ES social educator
- Early childhood educator
- Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) socio-educational assistant
- Ideally, have experience and continuing education in the field of childhood
- Proven ability to manage, lead, and contain groups of children with behavioral disorders
- Ability to work both independently with a group of children and collaboratively in a team
- Driving license required
