The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1,200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatient and over 70,000 outpatient patients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency center.
The Institute of Radiology is fully digitized with a modern RIS and PACS and performs over 50,000 examinations annually in all areas of radiology. Our range of services includes computed tomography (Siemens), magnetic resonance imaging (3.0 T GE, 1.5 T Siemens), interventional radiology including angiography (Philips), digital X-ray imaging (DR), as well as digital mammography and sonography.
For our Radiology department, we are looking for a Radiology Dispatcher starting May 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your Tasks
- Planning, coordination, and scheduling of all radiological examinations
- Order entry of examinations in the Radiology Information System RIS (CORIS)
- Working with clinical IT systems such as KIS, H-Net, and Windows
- Calling in, receiving, and caring for patients with a high level of service and customer orientation to ensure an excellent patient experience
- Close collaboration with our radiology specialists and radiologists as well as internal and external referrers
- Data entry, insurance matters, and administrative case processing
- General secretarial and administrative tasks in radiology
- Assistance with capillary blood sampling and simple laboratory tasks
- Participation and support in the area of sonography
Your Profile
- Completed training as a medical practice assistant
- Experience in appointment organization and patient administration
- Previous experience in radiology is desirable
- Independent, structured, and efficient working style as well as confident prioritization
- Quick comprehension and interconnected thinking
