Co-Institutional Management Social Services 70-80%
The Eichholz Foundation in Zug offers people with mental disabilities and/or addiction disorders a structure and perspectives. With 47 residential and employment places and a dedicated team, the Eichholz Foundation supports people in a needs-oriented manner in shaping their everyday lives on the path to more stability, self-determination, and participation.
As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for a committed, strong leadership personality starting July 1, 2026, or by agreement.
This is what you will move with us
- You lead the operation in coordination and consultation with the Co-Institutional Manager Central Services in accordance with the mission statement.
- You are responsible for the professional and personnel management of the Social Services (housing, housekeeping/kitchen, studio) in accordance with the service mandate and further develop structures and culture together with the department heads.
- You strengthen the social psychiatric quality: attitudes, methodology, case and crisis competence, teamwork.
- You design service and concept development along the service users – especially in cases of long-term support needs.
- You work closely with internal and external stakeholders and position the foundation as a competent and reliable partner.
- Together with the co-management, you bear responsibility for the overall operation and strategic development and bring topics to the foundation board.
- You ensure planning and control (resources, priorities, quality) and use personnel, material, and financial resources responsibly and sustainably – without losing focus on the professional aspects.
This is what you bring with you
- A solid education in the social and/or health context (e.g., social pedagogy, social work, psychiatric nursing, psychology, or comparable) and in-depth expertise in social psychiatry.
- Training as an institutional manager or willingness to complete this training.
- Proven experience working with people with mental illnesses and/or addiction; ideally in settings with long-term support.
- Leadership experience and enjoyment in strengthening teams and leaders, providing clear orientation, and constructively shaping changes.
- An attitude that places resources, self-determination, and dignity at the center – combined with professionalism, reliability, and good self-management.
- Strong communication skills, conflict and crisis competence, and the ability to act calmly, structured, and empathetically in demanding situations.
- Basic understanding of organizational and financial contexts (budget/planning/reporting) or willingness to develop further in this area.
