IT Senior System Specialist
Join us in working towards a more humane world!
The IT Department is looking for an enthusiastic personality as a IT System Engineer (m/f/d) 80-100% immediately or by arrangement.
Actively shape the digitalization of the Swiss Red Cross. You support our engineering team in providing and further developing modern, stable IT services for around 1,600 users worldwide. As a national headquarters, we are building a unified national IT landscape together with the cantonal associations, and you will regularly work at the Zurich-Oerlikon and Wabern-Bern locations.
What you can achieve

You actively shape the transformation towards modern, cloud-based solutions, drive the further development of our infrastructure services and Microsoft 365 cloud services, and ensure stable operations

You accompany internal SRK stakeholders in transformation projects around IT infrastructure and cloud services, actively participate in implementation, and take responsibility in IT projects

You get involved in operational tasks: handling service requests, troubleshooting in incident management, and solving complex technical challenges are part of your duties

You support on-call service and ensure that our systems run reliably outside office hours
What you bring with you

Know-how: You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification, as well as several years of experience as a system engineer

Knowledge: You bring solid experience in Microsoft environments (Azure, M365, and on-premises), virtualization, Active Directory and Entra ID, Exchange Online, as well as solid networking fundamentals

Team player mentality: You act solution-oriented and cooperatively and enjoy working in a team

Mobility: You enjoy visiting our various locations and collaborating with the teams on site

Languages: You communicate confidently in German (C1/C2) and English; French skills are a welcome plus
