Who are we?
The KID is the inter-cantonal expert conference on issues of integration, migration, and racism. It participates in the planning and implementation of Swiss integration policy and promotes the exchange of information and experience among its cantonal, municipal-urban, and regional members as well as with other actors in integration promotion and anti-racism at all levels of government and with civil society organizations. The KID maintains an office. This office, in close cooperation with the co-presidency and on behalf of the board, conducts the association's business, prepares decision-making bases for the KID committees, organizes meetings and conferences for the board and plenary, and is responsible for documentation and administration of the business. It has its office in the House of Cantons (HdK) in Bern.
Your tasks:
- Assisting in the preparation of business for the KID committees (creating decision-making bases, statements including preliminary clarifications and research).
- Assisting in meeting and conference preparations and follow-ups (content-wise, organizationally, and administratively), if possible also active participation in meetings and conferences.
- Administrative assistance in the office.
Desired profile:
- Interest in issues of migration, integration, and anti-racism as well as networking. A personal migration background is considered an advantage.
- Interest in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or comparable education.
- German or French with very good knowledge of the other language.
- Good analytical and editorial skills.
- Forward-looking and goal-oriented working style.
