Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who is interested in complex technical challenges within the framework of Bluetooth LE-based digital communication. You will be part of a development team in an agile environment and work on exciting developments from concept to implementation. In doing so, you coordinate with other teams in an international, group-wide environment. This way, you make a direct contribution to making the configuration of our measuring devices simpler and safer.

If yes, then this position offers you the opportunity to develop, implement, and support technical solutions to assist our partners in the intelligent networking of industrial processes. You will work closely with colleagues from research & development, hardware, and product management in a central role at our headquarters in Reinach.

What tasks will you take on?

You will:

• Design, implement, and maintain embedded software focusing on digital communication via Bluetooth LE in C/C++
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in an international environment to gather requirements and provide robust solutions
• Create technical documentation and provide professional support for stakeholders and users
• Analyze complex issues on embedded systems and develop effective solutions

What do we expect from you?

You:

• Have more than 5 years of experience in embedded software development, ideally with systems based on Zephyr OS
• Hold a master’s degree or higher in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Possess solid knowledge in C/C++, test-driven development, and a sound understanding of embedded systems. Knowledge of additional languages such as Python or Rust is a plus
• Have strong analytical skills, think in networks, and act independently. You combine enthusiasm for innovation and creativity with a clear view of what is technically feasible
• Communicate confidently with stakeholders and users in German and English (B2) – both written and spoken
• Advantages include:
