The Kantonsschule Hohe Promenade is a long secondary school with classical and modern language profiles, an immersion course in German / English, as well as a strong STEM program. At the beginning of the 2026 / 27 school year or by arrangement, 80% positions as Secondary School Teacher mbA (with special tasks) in the subject of Chemistry are to be filled at our school.

Your Tasks
- You teach Chemistry in the basic and supplementary subject at our long secondary school as well as the interdisciplinary subject "Experimenting and Discovering" in the lower secondary school; other interdisciplinary formats are possible.
- You help shape our dynamic and digital teaching formats.
- You are involved in the subject department and advocate for the promotion of the subject in all its facets at the school.
- You take on special tasks within the school (class teacher role, participation in commissions and school development projects, etc.).
Your Profile
- You have a completed university degree at the master's level as well as a teaching diploma for Matura schools (completed or imminent completion). Ideally, you can teach Chemistry immersively (in English).
- You bring several years of teaching experience at the gymnasium level, ideally at a long secondary school, and stand for demanding and contemporary teaching.
- You are an open, team-oriented, and committed personality who cares about both professional training and personal development.
- You want to engage in a diverse and lively school culture.
