The Gilly Hospital, a pioneering treatment and rehabilitation center (CTR) in the canton of Vaud since 1989, has been serving the region since 1922. With 42 rehabilitation beds, this ideally located facility offers a breathtaking view of the Alps and Lake Geneva. Additionally, our temporary reception center (CAT) with five places offers activities for seniors four days a week.

We are looking for 2 Chief Residents for Gilly Hospital: for May and November 2026 for a duration of one year.

YOU HAVE

• The federal specialist title or formally recognized in general internal medicine by MEBEKO.
• A particular interest in geriatric rehabilitation and palliative care.
• The ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
• A spirit of initiative, organization, and collegiality.
• A means of transportation and a driving license, ideally.

YOUR OBJECTIVES

• Ensure the clinical supervision of the overall care of patients in geriatric rehabilitation or palliative care.
• Work interdisciplinarily with nursing and therapy services (ergotherapy-physiotherapy, psycho-neuropsychology, nurses, dietitians) with the aim of coordinated care and achieving common goals.
• Contact and have privileged access with acute care and specialists of the EHC network, guaranteeing medical quality and smooth information flow.
• Participate in second-line on-call duties by call, during the week and weekends, about one week out of five.
• Supervise, support, and train the 7 assistant doctors in the development of their skills and the evolution of their career path.
• Be accompanied by 3 senior doctors specialized in internal medicine, geriatrics, and palliative care to contribute to your professional development.
