As part of your duties, you will carry out the following tasks, among others:- Ensuring a smooth process in the operational banquet department including billing of event services and invoice checks in compliance with department standards, combined with active involvement in daily operations and direct cooperation with the Events Operation Manager as well as the Banquet Department Head;
- Responsibility for staffing levels, budget planning, deployment and vacation planning, cooperation with personnel service providers, as well as conducting training and employee interviews.
- Co-development, monitoring, and securing quality standards throughout the functional area as well as involvement in redesigning the department's offerings;
- Involvement in the annual planning of banquet revenue and cost budgets within the framework of business management key figures, taking into account general market developments and competitor situations; participation in monitoring the budget and results development;
- Representation of the Events Operations Manager in daily and weekly meetings and for discussing upcoming events
- Successfully completed vocational training or comparable qualification in the hotel industry
- Several years of professional experience in upscale hotels or gastronomy in a comparable position
- Confidence in handling common software programs such as MS Office
- Friendly, professional, and open demeanor
- Very good German and English skills, additional foreign language is an advantage
